The Magic of Hypnosis

In my time as a hypnotherapist, I have seen some remarkable transformations happen. Rapid Transformational Therapy (RTT), which is the form that I practice, has the power to change lives in very few sessions. But what makes hypnosis so powerful? It's all about the power of suggestion and the ability of the subconscious mind to reframe limiting beliefs and replace them with new, powerful beliefs.

When we as hypnotherapists take our clients into hypnosis, we're able to communicate directly with the subconscious mind, which is where about 90% of all of our cognitive function lies. In a RTT session, we bring our clients into a beautiful, deep state of hypnosis and then go back to scenes from earlier in the client's life which led to the problem that they're faced with. By going back to those scenes, we can see where limiting beliefs were first cultivated. Oftentimes these beliefs are those such as "I am not enough," "I'm not worthy," "I'm different from others," and "I don't believe I can have what I want/need."

It is then our job as the hypnotherapist to interrupt those limiting beliefs by using one of many tools that we have at our disposal. By interrupting those limiting beliefs, we help the client understand how and where those limiting beliefs were formed and we begin the process of reframing and reprogramming the client to accept new, more useful beliefs.

Hypnosis is an incredibly powerful tool that can be used to get fast, reliable results in our clients. By working with the subconscious mind, we can get results far faster than many other therapies. You want to quit smoking? It will take only one to three sessions to free you of your habit. You want to lose weight? Three sessions is usually what it takes to get our client on the right path with their weight loss goals. That's the magnificent power of hypnosis.
