Hypnotic Weight Loss for the Health of It (How I lost 6 lbs. in less than two weeks)

Every Thursday I'm going to provide updates on my own hypnotic weight loss journey.


Recently I had an Rapid Transformational Therapy (RTT) session for weight loss. To be fair, I needed it. Tipping the scales at nearly 290 lbs. I was on the fast track to health problems, joint discomfort, and diabetes. My goal is to reduce my weight by 100 lbs. and to keep it off -- permanently.


Weight is always something I've struggled with. One thing I've learned through the process already is that a lot of people who are struggling with weight are often telling themselves little lies, such as "I eat healthfully" and "I don't know why my weight is as much as it is". Several people even chalk their weight entirely up to genetics (I know I've done it!). Upon further inspection through hypnotherapy, usually people realize that they are making many mistakes in their dietary habits such as eating too much sugar, overeating at mealtime, and snacking in-between meals. Oftentimes there are emotional reasons that lead to weight gain that hypnotherapy can help as well.


One thing that I've learned in RTT is that if you're going to choose a lie to tell yourself, choose a better lie. I understand now that even though the bulk of my diet was good, I was munching down on too many carbs and far too much sugar. I would go to the salad bar in my town and then follow up my salad with a huge brownie. I can look back now and see that I was addicted to sweets. The lies I was telling myself were just poor lies. Genetics weren't the problem and I wasn't always eating in a way that would promote a healthy weight. The new story I'm telling myself is that I am excited to follow a diet that will lead to a healthy weight.


I decided to follow a strict ketogenic (keto) diet with the understanding that hypnosis would help keep me on track and follow through. So, I asked my RTT therapist that I worked with to help install new programming that would help me stick with my diet plan -- no matter what. I started keto now two weeks ago and have been having no problems at all keeping with it. This meant cutting down on carbohydrates in a big way -- keeping total carbs down to 50g or less, or optimally 30g or less, in order to promote ketosis in my body. I thought this would be difficult to do, but with the help of RTT it's been so very easy. I'm finding myself to be highly motivated. I'm going to the grocery store picking out foods that I know will be beneficial for my health and wellbeing.


So far, the progress has been easy. In the first two weeks I've managed to already reduce my weight by 6 lbs. I weigh myself every 3-4 days at the gym using the same scale so that I can keep track of my progress. I have so much clarity around what I need to do to stick with my diet plan and like I mentioned before, I feel highly motivated to continue on this weight loss journey which is something I never felt on prior diets.
